Haramain High Speed Railway Project Management announced today that all trips from and to Madinah will be at a speed of 300 km/h, starting from today. The speed increase comes as part of the railway's operational plans after completing experimental and safety operations. In a statement, the management said that the railway will serve at a speed of 300 km/h between King Abdullah Economic City and Madinah stations, adding that this will reduce travelling time between the New King Abdulaziz Airport station and Madinah station to be around two hours while Makkah and Madinah trips will be around two hours and 45 minutes. It is worth mentioning that Haramain High Speed Railway is the largest and the fastest railway in the Middle East and all railway's stations provide different facilities including business class lounges, centers of public transportation, parking, mosques and others.
