The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) completed projects of building four new museums in a number of regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to be inaugurated during the coming period. These projects included the establishing of new regional museums in Asir, Hail, Tabuk, and Al-Jouf regions at a cost of more than SR224 million. These projects came within the framework of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cultural Heritage Program which is one of the initiatives of the National Transformation Program. The projects included a construction of new buildings for these museums as well as designing and preparing museum presentations according to the latest international designs and advanced modern capabilities in the field of artifacts and visual presentations.
