Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Ministry of Housing achieves a high and professional performance in solving the problem of housing in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within a short period, and comes up with results that are fully aligned with the goals of the Kingdom's vision 2030. The paper said that the Ministry of Housing announced 20 initiatives that were designed for all segments of society to achieve the goal of increasing housing ownership rather than rent. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that a number of independent representatives of the Syrian revolution and opposition forces emphasized the political solution as well as the formation of a transitional governing body with full powers to provide a safe environment for free and fair elections under the supervision of the United Nations and the relevant international organizations. The paper said that the required steps are to preserve the state institutions, in accordance with a national vision for a political solution based on full commitment to the statement (Riyadh 2), as well as the Geneva Declaration of 2012 and United Nations Security Council resolutions (2118) and (2254).
