Counselor Abdullah bin Khaled Tawleh was awarded the Merito Tamandare Medal, one of the high decorations in Brazil, in implementation of the directive of President Jair Bolsonaro of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in appreciation of the services and works he provided for strengthening relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Brazil. Counselor Tawleh received the Medal from the Brazilian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Fred Arruda, in the presence of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Brazil to the International Maritime Organization Admiral Eduardo Santos and a number of employees of the Kingdom's embassy, in London, and accredited ambassadors to Britain. The admiral stated that the award of the medal came in appreciation of Tawleh's efforts for strengthening ties between the two friendly countries, noting that the request for nomination for this medal was requested from a specialized committee, in Brazil, last July.
