Haramain High Speed Railway Project resumed here today daily trips between Makkah and Madinah, after a week from resuming trips between Madinah and Jeddah stations. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Manager of Haramain High Speed Railway Station in Madinah Saad Al-Shehri said that the first trip was launched here today at 8:10 a.m. from Madinah station to Makkah, adding that there will be 12 round trips per day between the two stations, from Wednesday to Sunday, with a capacity of 417 passengers per trip. Al-Shehri also said that there is a possibility to increase the number of trips serving residents and visitors of the Two Holy Mosques between Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and Rabigh stations.
