FANA 47th conference opens in Oman

The 47th conference of Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) opened today in the Omani capital, Muscat, in the presence of President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, heads and directors of Arab news agencies and members of the Federation of Arab News Agenc.
The conference is being held under the patronage of Omani Minister of Information, Dr. Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hasani.
The conference will discuss a number of topics and media issues, in addition to administrative and financial matters.
The Omani Minister welcomed the participants to the conference, pointing to the importance of providing support for this Federation. He also talked about the responsibilities of the News Agencies in facing false news and media misinformation.
