Within his current visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, the President of Human Rights Commission (HRC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Alawwad, held a meeting here today with the Director of Human Rights Department at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Veronique Gestan. During the meeting, Dr. Alawwad discussed the Kingdom's efforts to support human rights and empower women. He also cited the reforms being witnessed by the Kingdom in this area according to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to reform all state facilities, particularly human rights, where 60 decisions were issued in all aspects of human rights, including 22 dedicated for women's empowerment.
