Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah inaugurated here today the 4th International Conference on Mass Gathering Medicine in Jeddah. During the opening ceremony, Dr. Al-Rabiah delivered a speech during which he stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a leading country in the field of mass gathering medicine and its hosting of the 4th International Conference for Mass Gatherings Medicine embodies the wise leadership's ongoing interest and support for maintaining the health and safety of the pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the land of the two Holy Mosques. He pointed out that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques always seeks to develop health services in the Kingdom in order to enhance mass gathering medicine, whether in Hajj, Umrah or in other gatherings, especially as the Kingdom is now hosting sports, entertainment and cultural events and seasons throughout the year, which includes massive human crowds and superior global preparations.
