The Spokesman of the General Directorate for Narcotics Control (GDNC) Colonel Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Kadasah said in a statement that within the framework of the GDNC to combat drug smuggling and trafficking, the security forces were able to arrest 5067 people from 32 different nationalities in three months (Muharram, Safar, and Rabia Al-Awal 1441 H.) The total seized substances in security operations as follows: 1- 5,462,230 amphetamine tablets. 2- More than 6 tons of cannabis. 3- 2.95 kgs of raw heroin. 4- 54.933 kgs of methamphetamine. 5- Around 1.5 kgs of cocaine. 6- 473 grams of opium. 7- 182,053 regulated medicinal pills. 8- 420 assorted weapons, and 182,053 various live rounds. 9- A total of SR 10,507,900. The Spokesman stated that security forces will continue their hard work to combat smuggling and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances in cooperation with security forces in other countries.
