The last day of the registration of the international falconers in Al-Mallouah competition (400-metre) in King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival witnessed a large turnout from the GCC falconers, after the Saudi Falcon Club allowed registration for the international participants in the festival until the 7th day. The international rounds in Al-Mallouah competition are scheduled to start on the 10th day of the festival, corresponding to 10 December 2019. A number of falconers coming from the UAE and Bahrain expressed their admiration of the registration mechanism and its smoothness, expressing thanks to the Saudi Falcon Club for their help and assistance, including medical committees specialized, in examining birds, for their great efforts, in facilitating registration and examination tasks. They described their participation as a great opportunity for all falconers to participate in this great forum, which has become the largest competition in the GCC region and the world. The large turnout of the GCC participants is a great indication of the importance of the Falconry Festival competitions, in its 2nd edition, which last for 16 days, in Malham, North of Riyadh, as the awards allocated for the winners are more than SR21 million.
