Advisor to Saudi Royal Court and Council of Senior Scholars Member Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al-Shathri has visited King Faisal Mosque in Conakry, Guinea. The visit comes on the sidelines of the 5th National Islamic Conference currently being held in Conakry. During the visit, Dr. Al-Shathri reviewed all the Mosque's needs and the required renovations. He was also briefed on the Mosque's history. King Faisal Mosque was opened in 1982, during the reign of late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and can accommodate about 12 thousand people. The Mosque receives great care and attention by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and is one of the largest Mosques in Africa.
