The Saudi Media Forum will kick off here tomorrow under the title "Media Industry: Opportunities and Challenges", in the presence of a group of experts, media and thought leaders and the participation of more than 1,000 media representatives from 32 countries. The two-day forum will discuss, through more than 50 sessions and workshops, the issues of the media industry in all its forms of audio-visual, print and digital; it will review the local and international experiences and challenges of the media message in light of the growing technological development and the spread of social media, and the dominant digital presence on the scene, in addition to highlight on the experience of the talk shows and their acceptance and problems, and the requirements of professional success and issues related to performance and credibility and the fight against rumors and the impact on the overall events. It also reviews media investment, advertising revenue and other issues of relevance to the media arena and the challenges facing it.
