Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammad bin Saud Alkabeer, the Foreign Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Political Affairs, opened here today the four-day training program of the Saudi National Commission for the Implementation of the Chemical Weapons Ban Treaty. In a speech, he said experts from the Chemical Weapons Ban Treaty Organization are participating in the program. He added that the program aims at effective implementation of the obligations included in the treaty. Responding to questions from journalists, he stressed the fact that the kingdom is free from weapons of mass destruction. He called on the international community to pressure Israel to abide by the Chemical Weapons Ban Treaty.
