Published in Saudi Press Agency on 23 - 11 - 2019

In accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince, the Saudi Falcons Club attaches great importance to the preservation of the environment and wildlife, as the club performs its mission, in the conservation of falcons, especially endangered ones.
In conjunction with the countdown to the announcement of the start of the second edition of King Abdulaziz Falcons Festival, the club implemented a set of procedures and regulations, to preserve the falcons and wildlife, through the organization of trade of falcons, and awareness of ways of breeding and acquisition of them, while the club aims through its events and exhibitions, to transferring the heritage of falcons to future generations, in order to save this bird from extinction, in addition to strengthening the relationship with falconers and find a bond between them, and revive the spirit of honest competition among.
The Falcons Club takes into account several factors related to the choice of time and place, which is held during this time of the year to take into account the nature of birds, which do not tolerate high temperatures, losing its ability to fly efficiently which is necessary, and exposure to fatigue, in addition to choosing the location of the festival, in the inspiring north of Riyadh with a sprawling geographical area, to enable the falcons to move freely and accommodate as many participants and visitors as possible.
In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, the Saudi Falcons Club seeks to strengthen the Kingdom's position in the preservation of the environment and heritage, as its objectives are aligned with the themes of environment and sustainable development, which stipulated the need to preserve them, primarily as a national and humanitarian duty, and as a responsibility to future generations, as they are essential for quality of life and home development.
The second edition of King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival will open its doors to visitors, in early December.
