The Council of Arab Ministers of Justice started its 35th session today at the Arab League with participation of Arab Justice Ministers, the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, the Gulf Cooperation Council and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Arab Lawyers Union. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was headed by the Minister of Justice, Honorary President of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice and Chairman of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani. During the meeting, the ministers will discuss a number of items on the agenda, including the issue of combating terrorism, the Arab judicial cooperation network in the field of combating terrorism and organized crime. They will also discuss the Arab Convention against Corruption, the draft Arab Convention for the Regulation of Refugee Affairs and the unification of Arab legislation in updating the Arab Model Law for Combating Terrorism.
