Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here today, UN Undersecretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Mark Lowcock. Dr. Al Rabeeah reviewed the latest projects and programs being provided by the Center for affected countries in the world, especially Yemen. The two sides signed an executive contract for the Kingdom's contribution of $ 500 million to support the United Nations Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan 2019. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation and unify the mechanism of relief and humanitarian works in countries affected by wars and natural disasters. They also discussed consultations on coordination processes with regional and international bodies and organizations. They reviewed the strategic partnership between the Center and the various bodies of the United Nations, particularly the relationship between the Center and the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
