The Saudi Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), Engineer Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Ohali, has visited Dubai Airshow 2019 at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai. After attending the opening ceremony, the Governor toured the pavilions of Saudi companies participating, and was briefed on the most important products on display, which reflect the development of military industries in general and the manufacture of aircraft in particular, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He also visited King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) pavilion where he was briefed on the most important techniques used in two drones, manufactured entirely by Saudi cadres, and equipped with satellite communication systems. On the sidelines of visit, he met with the Chief Executive Officer of Tawazun Economic Council in the United Arab Emirates, Tareq Abdul Raheem Al Hosani. During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of military industries and technology transfer.
