Secretary General of Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Foundation for His Parents for Developmental Housing Dr. Yosif bin Ahmad Alothaimeen said the 4,800,959 square-meter land in Madinah previously donated by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, who is the head of the foundation, to be used as a source of income to spend on the foundations' projects in various areas of the kingdom, will double the capital of the foundation several times, will enable the foundation to double the number of residential units which will be built for people who need housing the most in the Saudi society and will accelerate the accomplishment of housing projects previously planned as part of the foundation's next five-year plan. Dr. Alothaimeen said the foundation will build 1000 residential units during the first phase which began this year. These units will be devoted to the people who are in most need for housing in a number of Saudi regions including Tabuk, Makkah, Madinah, Jazan, Asir and the eastern province.
