The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz sent a cable of condolences to President Vladimir Putin of the Federal Republic of Russia on the loss and injury of hundreds of innocent people at the North Ossetia school siege where terrorists kept innocents hostage for several days. In his cable, King Fahd said we have been informed with deep regret the news of the criminal act which resulted in the killing and injury of hundreds of detainees at the North Ossetia school, most of them children. The monarch extended his sympathy towards the families and relatives of the victims of the incident, voicing the condemnation of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of this terrorist act which he said totally contradicts and breaches the basics of all religions and values and humanitarian principles. He also wished the injured quick recovery.
