The Saudi-Maldivian Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the Shura Council, under the chairmanship of Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, has met with Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohamed Khaleel. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest between the two countries, especially parliamentary relations, and emphasized the joint work to enhance relations between the two countries. It is noteworthy that parliamentary friendship committees at the Shura Council are concerned with strengthening ties between the Shura Council and the parliaments of other countries, and achieving coordination and cooperation in international parliamentary forums.
