Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the visit of President of Sudanese Sovereignty Council General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan and Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their official talks with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud assures that the Kingdom has been and remains the defensive shield for the stability and security of Arab peoples on the basis of fraternity and common roots and the same fate. The papers said that the Kingdom, from the beginning, has stood by the Sudanese people by supporting them with a package of financial and non-financial assistance. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the humanitarian work of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not limited by borders, but extends to broad horizons with more comprehensive and diverse integrated programs that enrich the global humanitarian effort and support its objectives in various fields, the paper cited the joint cooperation agreement that was signed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) with the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization (ARCO), whereby strengthening capacities to improve response to humanitarian crises.
