Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mishari, Saudi Assistant Interior Minister for Technology Affairs, opened the Ministry of Interior's Pavilion at GITEX Technology Week 2019 which launched today via visual communication technology in the presence of the Head of the National Information Center (NIC) Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Capabilities, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Major General Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Zarah. The Prince stressed during the opening ceremony that the ministry is looking forward to presenting a distinct experience at GITEX 2019 through a unified platform that brings together 12 security and service sectors. This year, the Ministry of Interior participates with seven main sections under the title ''technical solutions for a safe homeland'' including combating crime and promoting safety, artificial intelligence in security, digital identity and personal documents, industrial facilities security, border and port security, digital transformation, and Hajj and Umrah. These sections are displayed to visitors to the pavilion in a number of interactive technical ways that allow them to know the efforts and achievements of participating sectors.
