A Saudi official source today denied a report carried by the Deutsche Presse Agentur (dpa) quoting a French weekly newspaper as saying that the Iraqi group holding two French journalists hostages manage to receive money from some members of the Saudi Royal family. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the source said this story is biased, false and baseless, a plain intrigue with some suspicious motives behind it from which its origin is targeting to create harm to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its distinguished international relations and its prominent efforts in the combat against terrorism.
