Twenty Saudi men and women joined the MiSK-Bloomberg Training Program organized by the Initiatives Center at Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK) represented by the Fellowship and Training Initiative in partnership with Bloomberg News. The program will last for a week at Bloomberg's headquarters in Dubai, with the aim of developing journalism and financial education for those enrolled in the program, in a move that seeks to strengthen specialized journalistic skills. The 20 young men and women represent the fourth batch of the program that was held three times before, bringing the number of beneficiaries of the program so far to 61 young men and women. The participants will learn during the program skills of media coverage of regional markets, reporting on companies and finance operations, ethics and principles of journalism, audio-visual journalism, mechanisms of developing their writing skills, and preparing for professional interviews through practical application in workshops. Participants in the program, which will be delivered by Bloomberg News Editor-in-Chief Emeritus Matthew Winkler, with the participation of more than 20 journalists and analysts working in the company from London and the Middle East, will witness an intensified training, where their training program will include financial data-based journalism through live application at the largest Bloomberg offices in the Middle East.
