A high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan held talks here today to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in the fields of refining, mining and renewable energy. The Pakistani side was represented in the talks by Minister for Power Omar Ayub Khan, while the Kingdom's delegation was represented by Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer. At the outset of the talks, the Minister Ayub welcomed the Kingdom's delegation, stressing that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Kingdom. He said that Pakistan considers its relations with the Kingdom as long-standing fraternal relations rooted in the depth of history and have multiple economic, political and strategic dimensions, and cannot be compared with relations with any other country.
