The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be thunderstorm rain with active dusty winds in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah, while active dusty winds in the regions of Eastern, Najran, Hail, Jouf, Northern Borders, western and southwestern coastal parts of the Red Sea. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is westerly to westerly northerly at speed of 18-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to westerly northerly at speed of 10-35 km/h.
