The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be thunderstorm rain with active dusty winds in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah, while active dusty winds in the region of Riyadh, Eastern, Najran, Al-Jouf, western and northwestern coastal parts of Red Sea. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is westerly to westerly northerly at speed of 18-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is westerly to westerly northerly at speed of 10-35 km/h.
