Saudi customs managed to thwart two attempts to smuggle two million and 579 thousand Captagon pills hidden in two vehicles, that entered the Kingdom through the crossing of Haditha, inside a truck and a special vehicle. The Director General of Haditha crossing Customs Abdulrazzaq Al-Zahrani said that 2,553,000 Captagon pills were hidden in the cavity of each section of the vehicle, inside the drum, in bunkers, at the front and rear mattresses, at the roof and sides of the vehicle, as well as in the vehicle's spare tire. Al-Zahrani added that customs also thwarted another attempt to smuggle a quantity of Captagon pills totaling 26 thousand pills, was found inside a truck, hidden in a fire extinguisher.
