Insurgents fired three mortar rounds in the Iraqi capital early Monday but there were no immediate reports of casualties, the Interior Ministry said. The mortars landed in a neighborhood in east Baghdad, said ministry spokesman Col. Adnan Abdul-Rahman. At least one blast could be heard in central Baghdad, witnesses said.
