Pilgrims have had their first experience in using Haramain High Speed Railway to be transported from Madinah and Jeddah to Makkah. This service was launched to transport pilgrims between Madinah and Makkah passing through Jeddah during the Hajj season 1440AH, starting daily from 8 a.m. until before midnight. The Director General of Operation and Maintenance of Haramain High Speed Railway, Engineer Rayyan Al-Harbi, pointed out that the train schedule, which was prepared specifically for the Hajj season 1440 AH, included 192 trips, adding that the Haramain High Speed Railway has transported more than 50,000 pilgrims.
