Liverpool beat Chelsea 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday. Neither side missed in the shoot-out until Liverpool keeper Adrian saved Tammy Abraham's effort on the final attempt. The game went to penalties after the sides finished 2-2 after extra-time in Istanbul. Chelsea's Oliver Giroud opened the scoring with Sadio Mane equalizing in the second half. Mane struck again early in extra-time only for Jorginho's penalty to force the shoot-out.
