The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has concluded its participation in the meetings of the 25 th Session of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) held in Kingston, capital of the Republic of Jamaica. The delegation included representatives from various governmental agencies concerned with following up the international maritime law (IMO). ISA is an intergovernmental body based in Kingston, the capital of the Republic of Jamaica, established to regulate and manage all mining activities in the international seabed areas outside the national jurisdiction and an independent treaty organization established in accordance with maritime law recognized as an international treaty. ISA's meetings aim at establishing regulations for the exploitation of the deep seabed in mining, prospecting, regulating future activities in the world's oceans and ensuring the protection of the marine environment.
