Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, who is also Governor of the Royal Commission for the Province of Al-Ula, met here today with British Chancellor of the Exchequer Philippe Hammond. During the meeting, they discuss files of common interest between Saudi Arabia and Britain in the cultural fields and the Saudi Arabia's plans to develop the Saudi cultural sector and prospects for cooperation with international cultural institutions. The Minister of Culture also pointed to the historical relations between the two kingdoms, citing the values and principles and common interests and mutual desire to promote and develop their common objectives.
