Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that agreement reached in Sudan between the Transitional Military Council and the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change on the presidency of the sovereign council alternately opens the doors of hope for the Sudanese people to reach a political consensus that will reorient the situation on its right track. The paper added that through this agreement Sudan will begins a new era to restore its luster and pivotal role as an Arab country. In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the terrorist crimes and the repeated aggression on Abha International Airport by Iranian-backed Houthi militias are a flagrant violation of international conventions, resolutions and norms. The paper added that the international community must move to put an end to this evil tampering not only being committed against interests of the Yemenis and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Houthi militia is a threat to the interests of the world by sabotaging commercial vessels and attacking on oil pumps.
