Pakistan's Minister of Religious Affairs Dr. Noor-ul-Haq Qadri confirmed that Makkah Road Initiative, which was inaugurated at Islamabad International airport today, enabling pilgrims to finalize their immigration, customs and visa procedures before reaching the Saudi inlets, is a qualitative step being offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of pilgrims. In a statement to SPA here, Qadri said Pakistan appreciates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and lauds its positions towards the service of Islam, citing the diversified and giant development projectsimplimented by the Kingdom at the holy sites. He paid tribute to the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki and the Kingdom's team leader to follow-up Makkah Road Initiative in Islamabad Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya and his delegation for the efforts they exerted to make this initiative a reality.
