President of Saudi General Auditing Bureau Dr. Hussam Al-Angari headed GAB's delegation participating in the INTOSAI-Donor Steering Committee meeting held in Tokyo, Japan today. Dr. Al-Angari is representing the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) in his capacity as chairperson of the INTOSAI's Finance and Administration Committee, and Co-chair of INTOSAI-Donor Steering Committee. The meeting discussed ways of supporting Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI)'s independence and support mechanism of SAIs working in difficult situations in addition to discussing the strategic plan of cooperation between INTOSAI and donor community. On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Al-Angari met with Gene Dodaro, Comptroller General of the United States and head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office to discuss the bilateral relations between the two SAIs.
