Manga Productions, an affiliated company of HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman "Misk" Foundation, inaugurated on Friday, June 28, 2019, its branch in the Japanese capital Tokyo, in a step that reflects the growth of the company's business internationally as well as the success of its partnerships with the Japanese side during the past years. The opening of the branch was followed by signing memorandums of understanding between Manga Productions and Kadokawa Corporation, Tokyo University of Technology, Mizuho Bank, Ltd., and Misk Foundation's Initiatives Center. The Chairman of Board of Directors of Manga Productions Badr bin Mohammed AlAsaker, said that the Saudi-Japanese relations have been strong and stable for more than 65 years, which allow us to maintain, encourage and stimulate an environment suitable for cooperation in various fields, especially creative ones. He also said that Tokyo branch serves as an invitation for joint collaboration with several Japanese creative entities through which creative endeavors contribute to the industry, adding, that it will also reinforce our partnerships in Japan to yield creative production and training programs for youth in the fields of gaming and animation.
