Dr Fawaz Al-Alami, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Technical Affairs, expects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to join the World Trade Organization by the end of the year according to a report published today by Saudi Gazette. The Kingdom has succeeded in signing bilateral agreements with 35 member states with the exception of the US, said Al-Alami in a lecture delivered in coordination with the National Commercial Bank Executive Management. Al-Alami hoped that his visit to Washington, which is scheduled on Monday, will remove all obstacles and accelerate the Kingdom's joining the international organization. --MORE 1050 Local Time 0750 GMT
