Following the session, the Arab Parliament issued a decision regarding 'the terrorist attack on civilian installations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and commercial vessels in the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates and the Sea of Oman'. The Arab Parliament classified Houthi militia as a terrorist group, calling on the Arab League and the United Nations to classify the militia as a terrorist group for its deliberate targeting of civilians and civilian installations. The Arab Parliament also denounced the direct or indirect Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries. The Arab Parliament appreciated the leading and pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the great efforts exerted by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in hosting the Arab and Gulf extraordinary summits held in Makkah on May 29, 2019, to protect the Arab national security and defend the interests of Arab countries.
