Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah condemned today the targeting of two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman. At the Security Council Session, Sheikh Sabah said that this attack is coming as a part of an ongoing series of subversive acts that harm the safety of waterways and undermine the world's energy security which threatens international peace and security. Furthermore, he called on the international community to take the necessary measures to prevent further tension in this sensitive region of the world.
