The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union has condemned with the most powerful words the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia's attack on Abha international airport which resulted in wounding 26 people from different nationalities. In a statement issued here today, Atef Tarawneh, Chairman of the Arab Parliamentary Union, expressed rejection of the use of violence and indiscriminate targeting of civilians, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international, moral and humanitarian law, and a serious escalation that undermines all international efforts to reach a political solution. He also expressed firm stance by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to face these attacks, calling on the world community to condemn these actions, stand firmly against them, and against those who are behind them in order to prevent them from achieving their malicious acts.
