The Center for Islamic Call for Latin America has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the criminal act by the Houthi militias by firing a projectile at Abha International Airport, resulting in the injury of a number of civilians of different nationalities. In a statement issued by the Center and all of its affiliated institutions in Brazil and Latin America, the Head of the Center, Sheikh Ahmad bin Ali Al-Saifi, stressed that these terrorist acts of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias aimed at destabilizing the security, spreading cross-border terrorism, closing channels for dialogue and diplomacy and applying agreements, are a war crime. He also called on the international community to hold accountable those responsible for this terrorist targeting in accordance with the international law, which provides special protection for civilian institutions and airports, as well as holding Iran accountable for its continued violations of UN resolutions and its support for terrorism in the region.
