The General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars expressed its strong condemnation of the Houthi criminal act of launching a projectile that landed at the airport of Abha International Airport and targeted civilians of different nationalities. Stating that the firing of these projectiles at the civilian facility underlines the criminal nature of the terrorist group supported by the Iranian regime, and its threat to regional security and international peace, stressing that the Houthi terrorist group is no different from ISIS and al-Qaeda in targeting civilians, killing innocent people, recruiting children and taking protection via residential complexes. The General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars called on the Islamic world, especially its Iftaa institutions and scholars to condemnation this indiscriminate act of aggression by the Houthi group backed by Iran which provides this terrorist group with qualitative capabilities. In this context, General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars reaffirms its full confidence in the capabilities of our air defense, military and security sectors, which protect and defend the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with all strength and power, which preserves the Kingdom's security, prosperity and sanctities under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the crown prince.
