The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned the targeting launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on Abha International Airport with a projectile which resulted in wounding 26 people of different nationalities, including children and women. In a statement issued today by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its solidarity with the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of any attempt to target its security and stability, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. Egypt stressed that such targeting of international airports is a flagrant violation of international laws and norms. The Arab Republic of Egypt called on the international community to work to counter all terrorist acts that would destabilize the region.
