The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Ambassador Abdallah bin Yahya Al-Mouallimi has affirmed that there is enough evidence to prove that the coordinated attacks on four oil tankers on the morning of May 12, 2019 off Fujairah Port bore the hallmarks of a sophisticated and coordinated operation consistent with the usual behavior of the Iranian regime, citing a history of its sponsor of terrorism, sabotage and spread of chaos in many places. Al-Mouallimi said in a joint press conference together with delegates of UAE and Norway on Thursday evening following briefing a UN Security Council session on the preliminary findings of the investigation into the coordinated attacks on four oil tankers off the port of Fujairah that "the responsibility lies on Iran". Al-Mouallimi urged the Security Council to deal with this situation as well as those involved in the attacks through reflecting the will of the world community and not remain passive towards such behavior.
