The Second Containers Station at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam received today the largest mega-vessel in the history of Saudi ports, as a result of the unlimited support of the wise leadership. The capacity of ship (MV. COSCO SHIPPING SOLAR) is 21,300 TEU, length of 400 meters, width of 59 meters and depth of 16 meters in the water. The Port also has received at the beginning of May a number of the largest container vessels including the Chinese international vessel (CSCL Globe). This step came in the framework of the Saudi Ports Authority's keenness on enhancing the reputation of the Saudi ports at the international and regional levels, and making the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a logistics center linking the three continents of the world to achieve the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
