Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia qualified this evening for the next step of Asia Champions soccer tournament after beating Al-Ain of the UAE 2-0. Al-Hilal was announced qualified even before the kick off of its match with the UAE champion when their rivals Al-Istiqlal of Iran and Al-Daheel of Qatar drew one love in the same tournament. Hattan Bahabri scored for Al-Hilal in the 14th second, the tournament's second fastest goal so far before Mohammed Al-Shalhoob tightened the lead of his team in the second half. On the other hand, Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia lost in Doha for Al-Sadd of Qatar 2-1 to rank third, leaving the first and second ranks for Al-Sadd and Baktakor of Uzbekistan. Al-Ahly's win-only last chance to advance to the 16th round remains glittering when it meets with the Uzbek team later in the tournament.
