His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met in Riyadh today with visiting Japan's Foreign Minister Taro Kono. During the audience, Saudi Japanese relations and fields of promising strategic partnership between the two friendly countries according to the Saudi Japanese vision initiative 2030 were reviewed and a number of issues related to the G20 summit were tackled. The meeting also discussed the regional and international developments and ways to coordinate the efforts being exerted towards them. The meeting was attended by Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of the State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Cabinet; Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, Minister of Economy and Planning; Naif bin Marzouq Al-Fihadi, Saudi Ambassador to Japan; Tsukasa Uemura, Japan's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and senior officials of the Japanese ministry of foreign affairs.
