Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and President Salva Kiir Mayardit of South Sudan, today attended the signing of a number of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on protection and encouragement of mutual investments, avoidance of double taxation, and mutual visa waivers in addition to boosting technical cooperation and training of diplomats. The investment and avoidance of double taxation agreements were signed by Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and Salvatore Garang Mabiordit, Finance Minister of South Sudan. Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Nhial Deng Nhial, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan, signed the visa waiver, technical cooperation and training of diplomats MoUs.
