Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa has met here with the President of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Ordzhonikidze and members of the Chamber, which includes representatives from each administrative region in Russia. During the meeting, they reviewed issues of mutual interest and discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world and supporting positive national integration programs, in addition to addressing the discourse of racism, extremism and the phenomenon of Islamophobia, as the Chamber's activities include counter-terrorism, extremism and community security. Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Muslim World League (MWL) and the Russian Civic Chamber, which approved the exchange of expertise to achieve common goals, notably combating radical ideology and promoting dialogue and peaceful co-existence between religions.
